Day One

This is what the front of the house looked like day one. All four sides of the house were covered in invasive ivy that had been there for years. It was from ground level to the roof.
The side entry door to the downstairs unit was ripped off its hinges and laying on the ground. The house was totally unsecured. It had been vandalized and was home to a homeless man for some time the year before.
Clothes and trash were spilling out of the right side windows of the house to the ground. Weeds were everywhere. The garage roof had been damaged from a fire from a house that once stood behind it. It had a huge hole in it and water and squirrels had gotten in for some time.
Trash and debris were all over the lot, strewn all over the place including broken glass. You could smell the stench coming from the house all the way to the street.
I bought the house for one dollar. People always said I had a good imagination. I guess this project proved it.
